Continuous Security Monitoring & Maintenance
We configure, monitor, and maintain your AWS security, end to end
We set up and continuously manage your essential AWS security services, so you can focus on building your product and your security posture doesn't drift.
Risk builds quietly as teams move fast. It doesn't hurt until there's an incident.
Who this is for
Post-review teams
You've just closed the gaps from a security review and want to make sure they stay closed instead of drifting back over time.
Lean engineering teams
Your team ships product; nobody has spare bandwidth to own AWS patching, alerting, and cost anomalies on top of that.
Post-incident teams
Something already went wrong once, and 'we'll keep an eye on it ourselves' turned out not to be a real plan.
What's included
- Setup of essential AWS security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and WAF
- DDoS protection configured with AWS Shield, tuned against real traffic
- Continuous triage of findings, with fixes applied, not just flagged
- Priority incident investigation and remediation when something fires
What a typical month looks like
Security event monitoring
GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Inspector findings triaged continuously, with WAF rules tuned against real traffic.
Vulnerability & patch review
New CVEs relevant to your stack assessed and prioritized, with clear remediation recommendations.
Always in the Loop
Stay informed as your AWS security posture evolves. Get notified when security improvements are made, with clear updates on what was identified, what was fixed, and what needs attention next.
Priority incident response
Security incidents jump the queue, day or night, reachable directly over Slack or email.
Questions people ask before signing up
What does this actually cost?+
A flat A$1,999 AUD per month. That covers the initial setup of the essential AWS security services plus ongoing configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, no separate scoping call needed to get a number. We're still happy to walk through what's included on a discovery call first.
How is this different from AWS's own security tools?+
GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Inspector generate the raw findings. Someone still has to triage them, tell a real threat from noise, and act on it. That's the part we run: a senior engineer reviewing findings, tuning WAF rules against real traffic, tracking relevant CVEs, and owning incident response, not just a dashboard nobody's watching.
Do you require a security review first?+
It helps but isn't mandatory. Most clients start with the AWS Security & Architecture Review so we're monitoring a known-good baseline, but if your environment is already in reasonable shape we can start directly after a kickoff call.
What happens if something urgent comes up outside business hours?+
Security events get priority response regardless of when they're detected. That's part of the engagement, not billed as an add-on emergency callout.
Can we cancel if it's not working out?+
Yes, any time. It's a month-to-month subscription, not a long-term contract, so you're never stuck paying for coverage you've decided you don't need.
Who actually does the work, a team or a dashboard?+
A senior engineer, directly reachable over Slack or email, not a rotating support queue reading from a script. The same person who scopes the engagement is the one who reviews findings and responds when something fires.
